happy halloween(ie)

Growing up I loved Halloween because of the amazing parties my parents hosted--we watched spooky movies and trick-o-treated to our hearts desires which measures to about one pillow case full of candy. I remember feeling happy and exhausted. Plus I always had matching costumes with my dear friend Caitlin (usually of the princess variety). As I've gotten older the novelty of Halloween has worn off but this year was surprisingly perfect.

Saturday morning was my roommate Becca's birthday and we celebrated by having a brunch feast. We made baked brie with cranberry sauce and apples, crepes with nutella and bananas, Spanish tortilla omelette, bacon, coffee, apple cider champagne cocktails and carrot cake.

Aren't my roommates the cutest?

This week my mama is coming to visit and I'm so excited! Happy Halloween everyone!
